A ski cabin located in Sugar Bowl, California encompasses everything ane would expect from a cozy and rustic vacation home. It's the gambrel barn house a lot of us call back of as their dream home away from home. The cabin was built by Kelly and Abramson Architecture and its interior design is the piece of work of studio Sally Ward.
The palette of materials used throughout the project includes an abundance of reclaimed barn woods which was used for the exterior siding of the house, the floor, railings and exposed beams, in combination with a roof made of corrugated galvanized metallic. These choices give the cabin a rustic and welcoming appearance.
